You can just search, leave the checkbox for dry run and you get an result for your search. However you should create always an backup before.
Thanks a lot. Have a nice weekend
Just tried it, but the result was not satisfying. The output was: (this is just 2 line of a lot of them)
Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/search-and-replace/inc/FileDownloader.php on line 236
Zeile: 184 Spalte option_value alter Wert: …… neuer Wert: a:51:{s:18:”sm_b_prio_provider”;s:0:””;s:9:”sm_b_ping”;b:1;s:10:”…
The problem is, that I don’t know now which post I have to change – which post have the term “http://farm1.static.flickr.com…” in it.
Any advice, what went wrong.
I have the same question, xaver06. This would be a neat feature to let one search for possibilities of what needs to be searched and replaced before actually doing so.
One idea might be to have the search and replace inputs be the same value. This might eliminate the PHP Notice and allow you to do what you are wanting.
