    When editing a user record, the check box for ‘clear the limitation’ is unchecked by default.

    My existing bloggers do not have this box checked and are not locked into any category via the plugin, being free to select as many categories as they like, defaulting to NEWS if none are selected.

    I assume this means that if I do not manually set a category for a user via the plugin, he is not locked to a category. Is this correct? And to later ‘unlock’ him, I just check the box?

    Do I understand correctly?

    Yes, Yes and yes that is exactly how this plugin works.

    Thank you. And just to let you know, this plugin has allowed me to duplicate a Drupal function in WP which a team of WP ‘experts’ were unable to do. Well done!
