Just set Featured Image

    Hi,

    I have multiple sites (think parent / child) and I want some of the content from the parent to post to the child sites.

    I’m using ColorMag theme and when I set a featured image it automatically shows the image as a header to the post (without inserting to the post itself).

    On the parent site I installed a plugin ‘Featured Images in RSS Feeds’ so that the featured image does get included in the feed.

    However, I do not want the image to be included in the post text on the child site (the one I’m using this plugin on)

    All I want is for the featured image to be set (using the same theme, it auto displays this).

    But what is happening now, is that the theme is displaying the featured image and then because it was in the RSS feed it is also showing.

    Is there anyway that this plugin can just detect the featured image from another site and use it without it being in the post, or any other suggestion?

    Hi miketurnermk,

    Take a look at this tutorial, it could help you to better understand how to set featured images with WPeMatico, you can also use the option “Remove Featured Image from Content” to prevent the image from being displayed twice.
