Hi @tjalexander70,
Sorry to know that you are experiencing an issue.
The work queue keeps growing
Could you please provide more details on how you noticed this? Would it be possible to share a screenshot of the same so that we can better understand the issue?
Could you please install the WP Crontrol plugin and check if there are any pending tasks?

Looking forward to hearing back from you and helping you resolve the issue.
Best Regards,
Nebu John

I don’t know what screenshot your want. I have been using the plugin for years on a very large site. Daily, I get at least a handful of either dead or changed links. That stopped happening this week. On the settings page, it shows “2101 URLs in the work queue”. When I first posted here, the number was a little over 900. On the Advanced page, under “Server load limit”, it does shows something is running with a number fluctuating as the plugin seemingly does it thing.
Earlier this week, my hosting company moved me to a new server. Could that have broke something?
Hello @tjalexander70
Since Broken Link Checker relies on WordPress cron jobs, if your hosting changes, break that, BLC will not be able to check the links anymore.
You can check the site health under wp-admin -> tools -> site health to see if you can see any errors related to cron events, please export your site health and share it with us so can check.
You can upload it to third-party free storage like Pastebin, Google Drive.

It just has a “copy to clipboard” feature under the Info tab. Is that what you want. Site health is listed as good. I have other plugins that rely of WordPress cron jobs, they all seem to be working fine.
Hello @tjalexander70
Please share the information here, you can upload it to a free third-party storage and share the link.
We need to check for Loopback or HTTP Requests issues, we haven’t updated the plugin in the last 2 months so the issue is most likely related to your recent changes on your hosting/server.
If you don’t see any errors in site health, please try resetting the BLC setting and recheck all links, by going to Tools > Broken Links and clicking “Re-check all pages” to flush the queue.
Best Regards
Amin
