After, the latest update, my galleries that use the justified layout take noticeably longer to load. Thumbnails sometimes appear one by one instead of together.

Could this be related to lazy loading, or is there a new setting affecting this?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out, and great observation about the loading behavior after the update.

Yes, the delay you’re noticing in the justified layout may be related to lazy loading, image size, or a few additional settings introduced in the latest version.

Here are a few things you can check and adjust:

    – Lazy Load: Make sure lazy loading is enabled in the gallery settings – it helps improve performance, especially with large galleries.

    – General Delay Option: In the General Settings, there’s a delay parameter (in milliseconds) that controls when thumbnails start loading. You can experiment with lowering this value for faster initial display.

    – Image Sizes: If your original images are very large, even the thumbnails might take longer to generate and display. We recommend compressing images to reduce their file size without noticeable quality loss.

    – Gallery Cache: Try enabling the gallery cache option – this stores pre-processed data and can significantly speed up loading.

Also, this behavior isn’t specific to the justified layout – similar results could happen across other layouts if large files or high delay values are in place.

Let us know how it goes after tweaking those settings, and we’ll be happy to take a closer look if needed!
