Sorry, but no. The normal practice is to leave open the original thread and close the duplicates.
You had 4 duplicates and the threads were not deleted, merely closed. You haven’t lost anything.
As a side note: if you are using Viper’s Video Quicktags the JW FLV Player was removed from that plugin by the author.

You can still obtain the player just follow the directions on his post. Look for “you will need to download this ZIP file” the link is there, it just can be hard to see it.
