I already responded to this via email, but I’ll post my response here as well in case another user has a similar question.
What does “disable plugins in assets cleanup” mean in this context?
If you’re asking if there’s a way to leave a plugin menu visible while the corresponding plugin is disabled, I’m pretty sure that’s impossible. Maybe you could manually create a new menu item that links to the admin page of the disabled plugin (as a custom URL). However, this might be time-consuming to set up, and then you would have duplicate menu items while the plugin was enabled.
This is a new feature to you.
If I copy the menus to a custom menu, it’s just disable the original menu to prevent duplicates.
While it’s not implemented, I would to know the easy way to do this exporting, modifing the file and importing again, to do this in mass.
Ah, I see. Thank you for the suggestion! However, this seems like it would be a pretty niche feature, so it probably won’t be implemented in the near future.
