• Hello,

I’m new to WordPress and I’m just messing around trying to figure it all out. I have created a simple blog (I think) and wrote a few paragraphs and saved it. I intended the first few paragraphs to be a sort of introduction to what the blog was about. I then wanted to have various entries under it. Each entry could receive their own set of comments. But as it turns out, it looks like my first few paragraphs are the blog. Each new post I make gets it’s own page (i.e http://www.domain.com/?=1, /?=20, etc…) and the comments go under those pages.

Is there a way to have a number of different posts, each with their own comments on one page?

They all have to do with each other, is why I want to do it like that. Maybe I’m trying to use the blog in a way that it wasn’t meant to used in.

    I really appreciate anyone’s help!!

    Thanks

  • This is how all blog sites work. Each post is allocated its own (single post) page which is generated on demand. Posts can also be listed on “archive” pages (such as your site’s main posts page) so that visitors can view them according to date, category or tag.

    esmi,

Thanks, as you were writing, i was editing my posting. I started to understand that, so I revised my question. However, judging from what you just said, my problem is still the same, and I’m probably not going about this the right way. I guess I need to rethink my objective a bit.

    Thank you
