I am using this plug in to monitor sign ups to my website because I need board members to have the ability to sign up as a special user group. This works great for this but because the wordpress membership setting is set to on I am getting user requests that are spam. The only 2 reasons for anyone to sign up on my site is for mailpoet (handled separately) and for board of directors users. I have crated a special sign up form for the board members which is only available through a direct link emailed to them (it blocks robots so does not show up elsewhere) So random users are somehow signing up for the website and I need to remove any possibility of this happening. How can I use this plug in but limit the sign ups only to the forms mentioned above. I don’t know where these random users are finding a form to sign up. I hope this question makes sense. I need to block any other possible signup forms. Please help … this is causing many issues. Thanks.

    Hi @designbysue,

    Thanks for using the plugin,

I hope you are doing well, If you have set the Membership setting as on, then the default registration form should be appearing at this URL.
    https://yoursite.com/wp-login.php?action=register

Spam accounts should be registered from this form, to disable spam you can either block this URL through htaccess or you can add a ReCaptcha field.

New User Approve can disable access to the site by not allowing unapproved users to log in, but it cannot block users (normal or spam) from creating an account.

    Thanks & Regards
