Keymaster string lost permissions

    My keymaster account can no longer access the admin dashboard. If I change my account to Administrator through phpMyAdmin the account will work.

    What would cause this? and How can I fix it?

    Create a new admin user. Delete the keymaster account and let it assign all the keymaster posts to the new admin user. Then delete and re-add the keymaster user. Then delete the new admin user account and let it assign the posts back to the new keymaster user.

    thanks for the suggestion. I added a new admin account through phpMyAdmin. After logging in with the new admin account I discovered that my old account had lost keymaster status in WP. It was strange because the appropriate key seemed to still exist in the database.

    Anyways that’s how I fixed it. Thanks for the ehlp though.
