    Hello there,

I have moved my website to a new server and my API. Here is the message:
FluentSMTP Plugin may not work properly. Looks like your Authentication unique keys and salts are changed. Reconfigure SMTP Settings

    May I know the reason?

    Hello @assad1999,

Thank you for reaching out to the FluentSMTP support team. I hope you are having a great day!

I understand you are seeing a notification regarding your Authentication unique keys and salts after migrating your website to a new server. I would be happy to clarify why this is happening.

WordPress uses unique salt keys to securely encrypt sensitive data saved within your database. When you move a website to a new server, these salt keys can occasionally be regenerated or altered by security plugins or server-side environment configurations. Because FluentSMTP uses these specific keys to encrypt your SMTP credentials, a change in these keys essentially renders the previously stored credentials “unreadable” or invalid to the plugin, as they no longer match the encryption pattern expected by the new environment.

To resolve this and get your emails flowing again, you will simply need to re-enter your SMTP credentials in the FluentSMTP settings. Once you save them, the plugin will encrypt them using your site’s current salt keys, and everything will function perfectly once more.

Please let me know if you run into any trouble during the reconfiguration process, and I will be more than happy to assist you further!
