    Hi,

I’ve had 4 failed payments with Klarna, and I suspect there may be a technical issue, bug, or conflict with another plugin maybe.

I had no issues on May 1st and all transactions before that. The first failed payment occurred on May 4th. After that, 4 other customers tried to pay with Klarna and 3 of them failed.

I just tried to order something myself with Klarna to see if there is an evident issue. Everything seemed to work fine until I had to authorize the transaction with my banking app. I received the authorization message and when I chose to authorize the payment on my app, it said something like: There has been an communication issue.

After that I tried again and it worked the second time.

(If it is important: I’m from Germany, I tried to pay with my bank account and the App I’m using was from Sprakasse.)

It would be great if you could take a look at that.

    Hi @billy85

Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. It sounds like your issue is occuring on the Klarna hosted payment page, is that correct? If so the plugin is not involved in that process. Once the redirect from your checkout page to Klarna occurs, the plugin is no longer in control.

It is not until after your confirm that payment and you’re redirected back to your site that the plugin assumes control again and updates the WooCommerce order.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Clayton,

thank you for your quick reply.

    Ok, I understand.

In that case, who should I contact? Klarna directly?

    Hi @billy85

I would recommend contacting Stripe support at support.stripe.com. If you go to the stripe.com > developers > logs page, you can find the log entries for your test payment and provide Stripe support with those details.

They typically will want the payment intent ID and the request ID for the log.

    Kind Regards
