You can edit those text very easily using Loco Translate.
These two examples we will integrate in our core, thanks for that. If you send us more we are happy to do those as well.
But I am really surprised why Knowledge base is nor working for you, nothing special over their than Products/Orders dashboard !!!
If you allow us to check your site once, then it will be best to debug and fix very quickly.
May be some JS conflict with other plugins or theme, but can’t say you definitely in assumption.

Thanks again and apologies for the delay in response (sometimes the WP support replies do not seem to come through)
I deactivated the plugin and reactivated and now the knowledgebase is working as expected.
I suspect you are correct about a js order = will have to work through but for now it is working.
