The Schema plugin adds the valid markup, but it doesn’t guarantee the Knowledge Graph will show in search.

I want to use this topic to ask something as well:
I installed the plug-in because I want to improve the site’s knowledge graph (a restaurant), specifically since I want to use the sameas code so its social media accounts appear in the knowledge graph. In the plug-in, I told the site not to tell Google to show a sitelink search box. I also told the site to tell Google to show the site’s name in the Search results. In the plug-in, I added the links to the site’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
After that, I went to the Google Search Console’s account for that website, submitted a sitemap and told Google to fetch and render the site for desktop and smartphone. This was about 2 weeks ago. Yet the links to the social meddia accounts are not showing up.
Today I saw this in the google forum:
“At this time Social Profiles are only allowed on the Famous Entry KG’s not Business”
Am I missing something here? Can I really put a Facebook and Instagram page in the knowledge graph for a restaurant? If not, why is Schema asking me for the social media accounts for the business?
