• Hi there, this is a bit of an obscure issue, and I don’t expect a direct answer. But hopefully some guidance on how to troubleshoot would be ideal. With my latest website (clearlyglassltd.co.uk) emails are not being sent when there is only a small portion of text entered into the textarea message box.

We’ve got Contact Form DB plugin installed too. This feedbacks all ‘successful’ emails, including the ones that don’t actually deliver. When we try sending an email with a small about of text (less than 100 – 200) characters, the email won’t send. However, when there is an attachment, the email will send regardless of the character count in the textarea. There seems to be a conflict of some kind between the two input types.

We’ve tried all variations of max-limits, file sizes, removing the upload option altogether, making the text area required, not required and all sorts, checked ip blacklists, smtp settings, etc. The same issue persists… when there is an upload option, small messages won’t send (but will be stored in the DB).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mark
