Label text on left

I wanted to use the notification area to have an form input area to search for parts. I added some form code and will fix the JS later, but need to show to client. Right now the label text keeps showing up on top of the input area. I tried messing with the CSS but not sure how to get the label text forced to the left. Here’s a link:

Right now, its a sample site. Maybe a future plugin addition would be actual form input?
