do you have the most current version of our plugin?
I had an error in earlier versions. I just tried switching to Nederlands on one of my pages and got the translated frontend.
Tell me if you still have problems with the newest update!

Maybe it I’m doing something wrong and it’s more a general WordPress problem.
I have version 1.2.1 of the plugin, WordPress 4.7.3.
Just to make sure I’m doing it right;
I change my language to Dutch by going to Settings > General > Site Language.
Is that correct?
You mention switching to Dutch for one page. How do you do that?
Yes, switching the Language in the General Settings is the correct way!
This should work just as you set it up.
Do you see the following language files in the language folder of the plugin?
wpgiftregistry-nl_NL.mo
wpgiftregistry-nl_NL.po
Maybe try deleting and re-installing the plugin. Your wishlist won’t be lost.
This should be resolved with the latest release!
