Now go in your wp_term_taxonomy table and make this search: http://nimb.ws/zfuhbE
And please provide me the screenshot.
1) Deactivate all plugins even Polylang, then switch on the Twenty Fifteen theme and close your WordPress session. Nobody must be connected on your administration.
2) Then delete the raw with the term_id 106 in the wp_terms and wp_term_taxonomy table.
3) Connect you on administration. Activate only Polylang, then go resave your settings in the “URL modifications” module.
4) Then try to assign your Magyar language to your pages or posts without language.
Did it … they are assigned to Magyar… the objects I am having issue are the once in the theme I am using
Can I switch back the rest?
Before that, could you create a new post in Magyar? Keep it as draft. Then could you check in your language list table?
Ok. Now reactivate *only* your theme, and assign your pages or posts without language.
Then could you check in your language list table?
It is the same again….

You recommended this: 1) In the wp_terms table and for the term_id 25, change the slug hu-2 by menu-hu.
On the screenshot you see it adds menu-hu to code
There is a conflict with your theme, which create a language (maybe from the menu).
Could you report this issue to your theme author?
Ok, I will try to do it… thx
Thanks for the idea! I found the last problem… around the menu!!! 🙂 The local is good … I am still fighting but it is getting better!
Can you assign existing pages to each other as translation?
Chrystl! Brilliant assistance! Excellent support! THANK YOU!!! It is all fixed!!!!!!! I figured out the rest! The problem was with the menu! Probably through all the DB modification an extra menu remained and cleared it out … and now it works just fine!
One more question: due to all these modification, I have lost the connection between items in different languages:

Great!
Have you delete your Magyar menu in your WordPress admin? Please let me what you have done.
You need to connect your pages
You need to do it manually.
