Hey Joerg,
Sorry to hear this! Under Loco translate > plugins > Kadence Woocommerce Email Designer have you added a new language? Is your language set to German from Settings > General?
Kindly,
Hannah
Hello Hannah,
a good hint, i have changed the language in the gernal setting from German (formal) to german only and now it looks much better.
It seems to be working in this case.
thanks a lot.

Glad to hear it! Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
Best,

I would like to reiterate here: I also noticed that the mail texts with activated Kadence plugin are not only in English, but also completely different texts than those stored in the WooCommerce settings.
Perhaps Kadence has a similar “bug” as other plugins: the formal salutation (and I value this!) is not recognised as German, because it uses a different language code. German “Du” has the code “de_DE”, German “Sie” (formal) the code “de_formal” or something similar. This is then not understood by many plug-ins as a German language setting.
As long as the stored mail texts are not used and other texts such as “Rechnungsadresse” are output as “Invoice address”, I can unfortunately not use Kadence, which is a pity, because the styling otherwise works very well.
Addendum: it is actually due to the unrecognised German language setting “Formal”.
Could you correct this in your plugin?
Hi @zappob,
I’ll reach out to the developer and see what input he has.
Thanks for your patience!
Kindly,
Hannah
Hi @zappob
I also noticed that the mail texts with activated Kadence plugin are not only in English, but also completely different texts than those stored in the WooCommerce settings.
That is correct, our plugin overrides woocommerce core giving you the options to edit the text inside emails. You have to translate the strings in our plugin, you can not inherit translations from woocommerce core because the templates are no longer being used in woocommerce core.
Translations are community-led, we don’t “support” any translations. You are welcome to contribute to the translations or just manage your own translations.
Loco translate is the best plugin to manage translations.
Our plugin does not break the way WordPress handles translations, if you site is setup to use Formal German then WordPress manages which language files to look at and use. If those language files are not correct that is something you can contribute to and help make better: https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/kadence-woocommerce-email-designer/
I hope that helps,
Ben
