    Hello,

I have a problem with the language file. I’m using the dutch language so almost everything of the booking calendar is also in dutch. But only the automatic send emails are in english. They were already translated correctly in the dutch language file, but they dont appear in emails. How can I change this?

    Thanks!

    Hello ,

If you was made the fix of translation, please recheck that the MO file of translation was also updated (its updated during the saving of the PO file).

If you are use the free version, so then you are need to make the FULL reinstall of the plugin, its because the email template are saved to the DB during activation of the plugin and you are need to make this reactivation. Its mean that the exist bookings and settings will be erased. Here is instruction how to check or fix/add translations: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/make-translation-of-wp-plugin/

If you are using the paid version of the Booking Calendar and need only the booking form labels at the client side of your site in different language, so you can customize the email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page. Please test it at the live demos here.

    Kind regards.

Unfortunately I already tried a lot of things. The PO file was edited by poedit, so also the MO file was updated. I’m using the free version; so I tried to uninstall the app, even manually deleted the tables from the database. The strange thing is that 75% is translated into dutch (reservation system, admin panel), but the emails are in english….

    1) Please be sure that you translated the Email Template(s) in the PO file. Please recheck it.
    2) Recheck that translation was not marked as “Fussy” in POEdit tool.
    3) Please be sure that MO file is also generated (check the date of that file, it’s have to be the same as PO file).
    4) Upload the new MO and PO files to the plugin languages folder at your site.
    5) Please open the general booking settings page in your admin panel and at the right side of the page please set checked option “Delete booking data during uninstall” and Update the settings.
    6) Now open the Plugins menu and click on “Deactivate link” near booking calendar. Wait for the message that the plugin is deactivated successfully.
    7) Now return to the Plugins menu again, and click on “Activate link” near the Booking Calendar plugin. Wait for the message, that plugin is activated successfully, it’s important.
    8) Now test it again.
