    Hi

The plugin changes the login form from Swedish (site default) to English.
Your plugin needs a PO-file so I can edit this. Client must have a login form in site langauge.

This is the only problem I have with this plugin. If fixed, I will buy the premium version.

Hope to get feedback fast, site must go public next week!

  • Hi @johanlinder
I’m not related to this plugin in any way, but the free plugin can probably be translated via https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/registration-form-for-woocommerce/stable/sv/default/

To let you test things quickly and smoothly, I’ve set you as Swedish translation editor for this plugin. Please ping me or @elbogen when you’re done, so that we can have a quick look that all is ok.

It would be great if you start by reading https://wpsv.se/engagera-dig/stilguide-for-oversattningar/

    Hi @johanlinder,

Thank you for reaching out and for explaining the situation clearly. We understand how important this is, especially with your site going live next week.

The plugin does support full translation, including the login form, and it already includes a POT/PO translation structure. You can safely translate all plugin strings into Swedish using tools like Loco Translate.

A few important points to clarify:

    • The plugin follows WordPress site language settings by default.
    • If the login form is showing in English, it usually means:
      • The Swedish translation file is missing or not loaded yet, or
      • The strings have not been translated in Loco Translate for this plugin.
    • No custom code is required. You can translate all frontend strings (including login and registration forms) via Loco Translate → Plugins → Registration Form for WooCommerce.
    • The translated strings will persist and will not be overwritten when done correctly (stored in /wp-content/languages/plugins/).

If you’d like, you can share a screenshot of your Loco Translate setup, and we’ll quickly verify that everything is configured correctly so you can proceed with confidence.

We’re glad to hear this is the only blocker for you, and we’ll do our best to help you resolve it quickly.

    Kind regards!

I bought the PRO version, since I beebed extra features, and it allowed for editing text strings.

    We can close this ticket.
