    Hello,

    I have switch from mqtranslate to qtranslate x.

    Everything works fine until the Language switching methods at back end.

    When I add a new page, it doesn’t show me the language buttons for translating. I can only use a code to add translations. But on the plugins I have the buttons where I can switch between the languages.

    Do you now how can I add this langauages switch buttons also on the backend page?

    Thanks for your advice,

    regards,

    Edina

    @nativum,

    Under Language Management (qTranslate Configuration)
    Advanced Settings – Editor Raw Mode – Do not use Language Switching Buttons to edit multi-language text entries. Unchecked?

    Have you used/read this when switching from mqtranslate?

    Yes, I have done it like it’s written there.

    I have Import settings from mqTranslate plugin.

    The Language Switching Buttons work with the plugins but there are not showing on the back end page site …

    Deactivate, temporarily, all other plugins apart from qTranslate X and see if it works then.

    If so, activate plugin for plugin to see where it goes wrong

    back end page site …

    You mean in pages and posts?

    (@nativum)

    Yes in pages and postes at the back end site.

    At the front site it works perfect 🙂

    Now I figured that when I want to add a new page at the back end site it shows me a black screen.

    But when I deactive the qtranslate x plugin, it works. Hmmm, maybe there is a plugin conflict between qtranslate x and WordPress.

    I use WordPress 4.1.1 with the Radiant child theme.

    Did you try this:

    Deactivate, temporarily, all other plugins apart from qTranslate X and see if it works then.

    If so, activate plugin for plugin to see where it goes wrong

    Also try a default WP theme after that if it still not works.

    Hello @gunu,

    now it works :). They was a plugin conflict between qtranslate x and qtranslate META.

    Thanks for your help,

    @nativum,

    You are very welcome! You can review this plugin to help other people to find out the value.

    Try also this before avtivating that plugin:

    Language Management (qTranslate Configuration) – Advanced Settings – Compatibility Functions and check Enable function name compatibility

    Please put this topic on Resolved when you’re done.

    Thanks
