    what is the prefix for the language/translated files
    wp-store-locator- or wpsl-

    It’s wpsl- followed by the language code in the de_DE ( in case it’s German ) format.

    reason for asking was the file coming with wpsl are named like wp-store-locator-

    The original language files are not named wp-store-locator.

    Where did you download it from?
