Languages directory empty?

My WP language is Persian, but Storefront is using English. According to https://docs.woothemes.com/document/installing-storefront-in-your-language/ , all supported languages should be languages directory. However my themes/storefront/languages directory is empty. I also tried downloading the theme myself, still empty. I checked the GitHub repo as well. The directory is empty there too. So, what gives?
