Large uploads directory > Unsaved files

    Hi,

    I’m trying to save a large “uploads” folder (>800MB), the archive is 360 MB.

    When I make the backup with Updraft+ it consists of two files of 399MB and a file of 3MB.

    When comparing the contents of the two extractions, it appears that several image files have not been saved by BackWPup without the log indicating an error.

    Do you have an idea of what can happen and how to fix that?

    can you please test version https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup/archive/master.zip Please tell me if this works for you?

    Hi,

    My bad I ticked the option “Thumbnails in uploads”.

    Anyway, I made another backup without this option and the file is now 781.25 MB.

    As you can see in the following three pictures.

    <= Left backup made with BackWPup, => right with Updraft+

    BackWPup has problems with the backups of some (not all) files whose names contain an accent.

    How to correct this?

    Does the version you propose above correct this problem?

    Hi Andreas,

    There is another issue, the file once unzipped have the current date instead of their original date.
