• Hi
We are just about to start using a large theme with many plugins preinstalled – many of the plugins we consider critical to the site i.e. Memberships, Payment Gateways Vis Composer, Cerber Security etc … plus we’ll be making custom modifications and following best practice for bullet proofing.

Our question is wont this plugin compromise the existing system with many broken links if plugins have hard-coded paths etc. We like the look of this plugin but your example demo only shows it being used on one of the simple demo themes. We need this on a fairly HUGE wP install without it **** everything up!! How safe is the Rollback-type feature so if all fails we haven’t lost our project??

    Hi,
Everything is processed on the fly, so you won’t lose anything. There isn’t any hard-coded slugs anywhere, not in our plugin.
If your site is huge, it shouldn’t create any issue at all, as long the code follow the codex rules, i believe you just have to give a try.

Of course, it wouldn’t hurt to keep a back-up of everything, but as i mentioned, the plugin will NOT change anything in the files.

    Thanks

    Hello,
Thanks for the quick response! yes i guess well just backup everything and go for it. I’ll update this thread with a list of the plugins we’ve used and any issue workarounds if all works out as it may act as a benchmark for other potential users of your plugin with the same query. I must say its looks great – watch this space.

    Cheers
