I can confirm the same issue after updating to WooCommerce 10.5.0 on shared hosting.

    In my case:
    – Host: IONOS shared hosting
    – Update failed mid-process with no manual interruption
    – WooCommerce was left in a partially deployed state
    – Resulted in REST API fatal errors and broken admin access
The only way to restore the site was to revert the WooCommerce plugin directory to the previous working version from backup (no database corruption observed)

This looks consistent with a non-atomic filesystem / constrained shared hosting environment where large plugin updates can terminate without rollback.

Happy to provide error logs if helpful.

    Hi @esteticadirecto,

Thanks for sharing the details here. I can see how concerning it is to receive critical error notifications right after an update, especially when the site was working as expected before.

The error you are seeing points to WooCommerce dashboard templates and, based on similar reports after the 10.5.0 update, this can happen when the update does not complete cleanly on the server. This is more common on shared hosting environments or when the update process is interrupted, which can leave some plugin files out of sync.

A practical first step that has helped many merchants is to reinstall WooCommerce 10.5.0 manually to ensure all files are correctly in place. You can download the latest version from here and replace the existing plugin files via your hosting file manager or FTP, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/

You can also review the recommended update and installation steps in our documentation, https://woocommerce.com/document/installing-uninstalling-woocommerce/.

If you would like more tailored help, such as a closer look at your specific logs or environment, please feel free to open your own support topic in the WooCommerce forum and include the relevant log details there. That will allow us to focus directly on your setup and provide more specific guidance, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/

@lol26, thanks for adding your experience as well. What you described aligns closely with how shared hosting environments can behave when larger updates fail part way through, and your input helps provide helpful context for others following this thread.

If either of you would like more targeted assistance, such as a closer review of your specific error logs or hosting environment, please open your own support topic in the WooCommerce forum and include the relevant log details there. That will allow us to focus directly on each site and provide guidance tailored to your setup, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0

Looking forward to helping you get this fully sorted.
