  • Our forms also seemed to not render in the latest update. We discovered an issue with the “AJAX form loading”. Turning it off seemed to get the forms to display again.

    1) Edit your form
    2) Go to “Behaviour”
    3) Scroll down to “Rendering”
    4) Turn off “Load form using AJAX”
    5) Update/Save Form.

I had the same error, disabling ajax did not solve the problem, but downgrading to 1.20.1 and re-enabling the plugin did.

    Hi @jbassino

I hope you’re well today and I’m sorry for late response!

Is your site using Elementor or other page builder (if yes – which one) and what is the theme used?

Also, if it’s Elementor – is form added to the page using widget or just a shortcode?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello Adam

We are using Elementor. The theme is an Elementor kit itself.

The forms are displayed using a text editor widget with the shortcode pasted.

I downgraded to 1.19 and everything is back to normal.

    Looking forward to your fix.

    Thanks

    HI @jbassino,

I’m afraid, without replicating the issue it’s tough to say what exactly to fix regarding this on the Forminator side.

Possible for you to check by upgrading the plugin back to the latest version and by running a conflict test by only keeping Elementor enabled and the rest of the plugins disabled to see if the issue is the same?

If you are able to notice the same issue again then please do share the form export so that we could check further?

Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Hello @jbassino ,

We haven’t heard from you for a week now, so it looks like you don’t need our assistance anymore.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
