Hello,
The last update of Simple Download Monitor deleted the compatibility with Classic Editor plugin on WordPress.
Is it possible to re-add this compatibility please ? I know you’ve deleted it for TinyMCE but it has broken Classic Editor Integration too.

Hi,

I assume you are referring to the visual editor for adding new downloads. If you are, have you tested the following plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/tinymce-advanced/?

Hello,

I’ve tested the visual editor for adding new download with TinyMCE and without this, I still have this on the “Block Editor” when creating new article, but as my users still use Classic Editor ( https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/classic-editor/ ) they’re blocked because last update of your plugin forces them to use the Block Editor instead of Classic Editor.

We no longer support the “insert shortcode” for the old editor. The functionality of the shortcode will work fine though.

You can copy and paste the shortcodes inside your classic editor and that will work fine. The shortcodes are all explained nicely in our documentation (you can copy from there and past into the editor).
