Last update: manually inserted ads not displaying

    Hi friends,

    I’m with HUEMAN theme, WP-5.6 and WP Quads 2.0.18.1
    (Hueman is practically a version of Sustomizr)

    Since last update the manually inserted ads are not displaying (in all the involved articles), though the code is visible in the article in Guttenberg code editor view.
    ( I inserted the ads manually with the WP Quads module within the Guttenberg editor paragraph selector.)
    Here is a sample blogpost of the issue.

    The automated ads(after 3rd paragraph, before last paragraph ect.) that were inserted through the WP Quads plugin surface (in the same blogposts)are still performing well, they are visible.

    The issue might occur due to the conflict with the other plugins. Can you please check it once by deactivating the plugins on your site whether the issue is persistent? And Then let us know back.

    No plugin conflict!
    Deactivated all the plugins one by one but the issue is still persistant.
    I have also tried the “old method”: inserted code <!--Ads5-->into an article strictly within the code editor view, but no result.

    As I mentioned not only the new method (Wp-Quads paragraph in Guttenberg) inserted manual ads disappeared from my site but also those old method inserted manual ones in the old articles.

    WP Quads 2.0.17. was OK, and the issue aroused after updating 2.0.17. to 2.0.18.1.
    In the meantime only Akismet Anti-Spam was updated no other changes on my site.

    ( I missed a letter in the intro: (Hueman is practically a version of Customizr. I mentioned this as some days ago I saw probably similar rooted issue in a post here. )

    Supplement to my previous notes:

    In the meantime I have performed an investigation on my site with the following result:

    WP Quads 2.0.18.1. made invisible all those manually inserted ads that was put into blogposts since the Guttenberg editor is used as block editor.
    In the older posts that was created with the classic editor, the manually inserted ads are still visible except in those articles that have been converted from “classic” to “blocks” with the Guttenberg editor.

    Hope this helps to spot the issue.

    I published this bug days ago (manual ads are not shown), and it is not a compatibility problem with other plugins or themes, it happens in several themes, even using the classic editor.

    On some environments, it work format <!–AdsX–> but not [quads id=X] shortcode

    Can you please rollback the plugin version and check it once whether the same issue is persistent. And Then let us know back.

    Yes, I confirm again, that the problem is only with the 2.0.18. series.

    Rolldbacked the plugin version to 2.0.17.1. and under this version each and every ads are displaying properly.Both automated and manually inserted ones.

    Although we were unable to re-create the issue at our end, We have create a GitHub ticket regarding this issue and will try to resolve it as quick as possible. In a mean while can you please update the plugin to version 2.0.19 and check it the issue is still persistent.
    If the issue is still persistent, it will be helpful for us if you can guide us to re-create the issue at our end.

    Hi Friends,

    I entered my system data on GitHub to help recreate the issue.

    In the meantime I have updated to 2.0.19. and this seems to solve the problem.
    Now all ads, both manually inserted and automated ones are displaying on my site.
