Latest comment not displaying

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the (very!) long delay getting back to you.

    Could you try adding a ‘Recent Comments’ widget to the http://www.mahurangi.org.nz/latest page, and see if this displays the correct recent comment? To do this, go to Appearance -> Widgets, and look for the ‘Recent Comments’ widget. This widget is the standard one built into WordPress. If this displays the correct comment, then it means there’s a problem with our plugin.

    Hi Tira,

    Could you try adding a text widget to the same page, and adding the following content to it:

    [better_recent_comments number=1]

    This is an alternative way of displaying the recent comments. I’m just trying to work out if it’s a problem in the underlying plugin, or whether it’s a caching issue. If you get the same comments listed in both widgets, then it’s fairly likely a problem in the plugin.
