Latest Posts list displays duplicate posts

    Hello, I have two problems with the [LATEST-POST] placeholder inside my newsletters.

    I am using WPML and I have set it so that it uses different directories for the language settings

    so its:

    mydomain.com/post-title for the default “el” language
    and
    mydomain.com/en/postititle for the “en_US” language.

    I have two problems:
    Firstly, each translated article has a different postID from the original, thus, I believe, when I have the [LATEST-POSTS] placeholder they both appear in the list aa duplicate.
    SO if an article is NOT translated, then it appears in the list once – otherwise twice.

    The other problem is that the generated links for the articles, feature the “?lang=el” at the end of the URL and not my own directory setting thus resulting in broken links ( 404 ).

    Any suggestions?
