latest posts picture size

on my work website at http://www.essexandsouthendlink.org.uk i want to know if there is a way that the default picture size associated with all posts is reduced? at the moment the picture size is extremely large and i cannot find any options to decrease it. is it defined in the css? i didn’t design the template, so don’t know much about this.
