    Hi,

I have updated the plugin to its latest version and in the updates notes was written: “Changed: Set the Google Maps API version to 3.33 to prevent weekly API updates from suddenly breaking the map. You can overwrite the version number with the wpsl_gmap_api_version filter.”

I don’t understand what “You can overwrite the version number with the wpsl_gmap_api_version filter.” means?
Should I do/change something after the update?

Thank you very much in advanc for your answer.

No, if it works fine now, then you don’t need to do anything.

But for some users in the past themes / plugin caused conflicts when Google Maps released a new version.

Before they did this every quarter or so, but now they do it every week. And to prevent things from breaking ( which is rare, but it does happen ) I set a fixed version number for now. Will move to a new version number as well at some point.

The filter just gives users the option to downgrade the version if there are unexpected conflicts.
