• I was happy how the old version worked – 7 lines of code and done – so didn’t check what changed with the updates.
Today I realized all the future blog posts that you could see when you knew the permalink/slug didn’t publish anymore. I really don’t need all the event calendar things. Not sure if the updates are necessary, but I went back to version 2.1.

*(I changed my blog so future blog posts show up in the sitemap and can be indexed ahead of time. The normal visitor will see the blog posts when they are “published” at the regular date, but could see them if they have the permalink or via google)

Thanks for your comments — Could you please provide some real examples/links/screenshots so that I can know what break on your end?

    Thanks!

    Hi @xjlin0
The new version(s) [checked with 3.2 just now] don’t publish future posts anymore.
I’m on an admin account, I schedule a post for a date in the future and the permalink to it is not working. With earlier versions that was not a problem. Now I can only see the post via the post id link (domain.com/?p=5453) and only if logged in. I did not change anything else in my custom theme. Reverting back to an older version of the plugin and it works again. There’s no extra code to check for the publish status on the loop or single page.

    Hi Jo

Thanks for reporting. I tried all Permalink structures except Custom Structure, but I can see all permalink without login. When you say “not working”, do you mean it shows page not exist? Which theme are you using? Could you give me a url of your not working permalink without domain name? Could you try to check “Posts” and save changes in Settings -> Future is Now?

    Thanks!
