Latest version breaks backend editing

    Hello,
    We are experiencing a serious issue with version 1.3.30. We are unable to edit a page consisting of multiple WordPress Gutenberg column blocks. The blocks are not displayed. In the list view, the names of the blocks are empty. The problem seems to only affect the backend. The content is not displayed as long as the plugin is activated. Deactivating the plugin fixes the problem, but of course the page cannot be used then. We tried downgrading to 1.3.29, but this broke our website.
    Please fix this problem ASAP!

    Sorry to hear you’re having issues. I’m unable to recreate the problem at my end. I’ll need a little more detail to look into this.

    Please could you check your console tab on the developer tools (right click on the page and click inspect, then go to console). Please provide any errors that may be showing.

    Can you also confirm if the issue you are having is with the WordPress core column block or the column block provided in the All Bootstrap Blocks plugin?

    Do you have any other plugins installed?

    Also, as a quick fix, version 1.3.28 should work. There was a problem in 1.3.29 which is why 1.3.30 was released shortly after. Could you check if 1.3.28 works?

    Hello Miles,
    Thank you for your prompt response. We have found the solution to the problem, and it appears that we were the cause of it ourselves. Somehow, the “Hide column block” option was enabled in the plugin settings under “Exclude blocks,” which caused the standard WP columns to disappear. We apologize for the inconvenience—the issue has now been resolved.
