Hi @alriksson ,
Good day, and apologies for the delay in my response. Mark here from the WPUM Support team, I’ll be glad to help you with your questions.
Regarding the deletion of the custom roles made from the plugin, I was able to replicate this and went ahead in reporting this to the development team. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Currently, it’s only possible to add a new custom role, editing the role’s name will need to be done through the database, you can check out the instructions from this guide – https://tutes.in/how-to-change-wordpress-user-roles-using-mysql-database/
Furthermore, it would be best to do such instead of editing the default roles.
Please let me know if you have other questions, and I’ll be glad to help.

Not really what I asked for.
1. Rename roles I created must be doable.
2. Its different to rename the display label (role name) vs the meta role (role). I only want to be able to rename default roles display name (role name). Like admin to super admin not the administrator name. To create a new admin role without full super admin rights. Rather do that then editing the default admin role and create a new.
You link me a general guide to change roles of users, not at all what this is about.
Think its better to speak to someone else @wpusermanager

@wpusermanager never got replies here and saw @mkesteban08 instantly marked it as resolved before even getting a second round of replies.

A gentle reminder regarding this one.
How do we delete a user role created. It isn’t possible. The styling issue on the modal is still there.
And please get back to me regarding the core question in this ticket.
Hi @alriksson apologies for the delay. I’ve been unable to recreate the role deletion issue, but will check how @mkesteban08 has done it.
Can you post a link to a screenshot of the styling issue please?
I’ll raise an issue to get the role rename functionality in a future version.
Apologies for the issue, this has been fixed in WP User Manager 2.9.8 released today.
Let me know if you need anything further.
