I noticed there was an update for your plugin tonight. When I hit update it totally crashed my site hosted on godaddys managed hosting. I could not recover any of the recent sales made from the database. Godaddy could not figure out what was happening either.

Basically I had to restore from a backup created yesterday. Now I cannot even remove your plugin without it crashing the entire site again…

    Whats the deal?
Heres the errors. Back end totally locked out and I cannot uninstall the plugin or remove it via ftp or these errors come back.

    Hi gweb89,

I am sorry to hear for your trouble. The errors you’ve posted here seems to be coming from a theme called “mytheme” and from woocommerce. Also, they are warnings, not errors which means they should not be stopping your website from running.

We have a GoDaddy account and have tested the plugin on their hosting plan before releasing version 4.18
Are you certain the plugin is causing this problem? Can it be something else that you have done before updating the plugin?

None of these errors or warnings are present until I try to remove your plugin.

I understand these are theme errors and seem unrelated to your plugin. But the website was working fine and never received any errors until I attempted to update your plugin today.

Now I cant even remove the previous working version of your plugin without everything crashing.

Godaddy said your plugin made serious changes to the database and they could not even fix it. It also somehow changed their FTP permissions on their end as well as mine. Im not even sure how that is possible.

I finally managed to get your plugin removed by temporarily removing my theme, then deleting the plugin. Then once I put my theme back everything worked fine.

    Marking topic as resolved.

    gweb89,

Thank you for the detailed information. I know what the issue is. I will try to explain it the best I can.
The plugin, when activated, collects errors that the site might be having. It stores the errors in a log file located in storage/error.log folder of the plugin.
When the plugin is activated, you will only see these errors inside this file. When you deactivate the plugin, the errors will be visible on the site itself.
In you case, the issue is in /Users/ambitious/Website Projects/airdesks.com/adroot/wp-content/themes/airdesk/assets/functions/woo-support.php on line 12
