Latest Version crashes wpengine (wpengine.com) staging function

    Hi,

    since last update (3.2.1, 2 weeks ago) the plugin crashes the admin function “Staging” from wpengine.

    I am a wpengine.com (wpe) customer. Every wpe customer has got a wpe plugin for some admin stuff. There is a function called “staging”. You can click on a button and wpe copies your whole live site into a staging area.

    Since last update this button is broken. The staging function is very important to us, so i deactivated every single plugin in my wordpress install.

    Result: Simple Download Manager is the plugin which crashes this important wpe function.

    Can you help? There is no error, it just doesnt work.

    The Download Manager plugin has no errors. Only the wpe staging function is broken.

    I tested it with a clean WordPress 4.1.1 hosted on wpe (i created a new install / a new site), too. Same error – so it is a general problem.

    Hi at-p can you enable debug mode and see if any issue is displayed. Have you checked the server log files?
