    The latest version of Wordfence (free version) won’t completely install on one of my sites. It has done so without any problems on all websites on my hosting account, except the primary domain.

    It’s showing this message – Wordfence could not register with the Wordfence scanning servers when it activated. It also keeps asking me to fill in contact info and accept T&C’s – which I’ve done around 10 times. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled on that site and deactivated other plugins one by one, but the problem continues.

    Great job in your initial troubleshooting by disabling plugins to help isolate if the issue is related exclusively to Wordfence or if it’s an issue with interference between the Wordfence plugin and another plugin on the site! You are on the right track.

    The next step I suggest is to use our Wordfence Assistant to delete all Wordfence data from your database before re-installing the Wordfence plugin.

    Let us know if you are successful in installing after using the Wordfence Assistant tool.

    Yes, it’s resolved – one of the files in the database had crashed, so I had to manually delete it, then reinstall, which cured the problem. Thank you.
