Hi!
Thanks for sharing the issue you’ve encountered.
To determine the source of this issue, please confirm if it persists when Minify is disabled. If the issue stops after disabling minify, proceed to disabling CSS and JS minifiication in turns, checking on each turn whether the issue gets resolved.
Let us know what you find.
Regards.
No, disabling minify did not bring the popups back. only reverting to a previous version of WP-optimize did.
Where can I see the pop-up in action on your site? Let’s try identifying the resources linked to the pop-up and exclude them from both caching and minification.
On every page there is a top menu where the first two menu items are triggers of popups. Then above the blog headlines there is a navigation with arrows and directions, in the middle (“avsnitt” or “chapters”) there is a third popup trigger.
All are triggering popups in LayerSlider, but the first time I noticed the error I was testing another popup builder, and the error was there too, so I don’t think it’s app-specifik in that part.
Sorry, I’ve been busy and I haven’t had time to research this further. But just now I did a test with turning off minify js/css in Autoptimise and turning minify on in WP-optimize instead (I’m on version 4.4.1 now), and that stopped the popups.
So I turned minify off in WP-optimize and everything’s working again. When I have more time I will test in staging.
Hi!
Thanks for the update. Please provide your site address, as we are unable to check the popups from our end.
From your last response, I gathered that you also have Autoptimise on your site. Perhaps you only installed it recently.
However, you should note that having multiple optimization plugins on a site can lead to conflicts. So I’ll suggest disabling Autoptimise while trying to configure WPO to suit your needs.
I’ll await the link to your site.
Regards.
I have Autoptimize installed, but I kind of alternate between that and WP-optimize, and never have both active at the same time.

Thanks for the link.
Please add /assets/static/layerslider to the Exclude JavaScript from processing section at WPO > Minify > JavaScript, and let me know if anything changes.
If you have the Delay JS option enabled, try disabling it as well.
I’ll await your feedback.
We haven’t heard from you in a while so I am closing this thread. Please start a new thread if you need further assistance.
Sorry I’ve had too little time to test, but I did just now, and the popups stop working as soon as I enable minify, even in the previous who version.
I think I found the culprit. It seems that a check in “delay js” in the “Delay JavaScript” section of WP-optimize blocked the popups. Unchecking this fixed this, also inte new version of WPO.
Thanks for Your help!
