• Unfortunately I’m having some major issues out of the box with Tickera. I’ll add a separate request to make it easier t respond.

The first issue is how bad the events pages look out of the box. I simply don’t see any options for changing the layout via a template. The only answer appears to be to add individual blocks to every event you create. That’s unsustainable and asking too much of my clients.

    What’s the correct approach here?

    Hi there,

The reason we utilize a block-based approach is to ensure that event pages are fully compatible with any theme without risking design conflicts or requiring you to touch PHP templates.

However, instead of adding individual blocks each time, you can create a ‘Event Template’ as a Block Pattern. Once you have an event page styled exactly how you want it, save it as a pattern. When creating a new event, you simply insert that pattern with one click, and all your styling and layout are instantly applied.

That’s not very user friendly to be honest, and I don’t understand how you remove all the content which appears by default when you create an event. The default page is pretty unusable and I’d want to redesign the whole thing which would require removing all the elements that currently appear and adding them in with a different structure/design.
