Hello! I’ve been using the plugin for a while, but after updating to the latest version (8.8.7), posts are no longer being imported correctly in the “One column, big image” layout, as shown in the attached screenshots.

The error “Block rendering failed” is displayed. Other layouts are working perfectly and render as expected. Only this specific layout fails to load. I’ve tried downgrading to version 8.8.5, but the issue now persists. I’m not sure if it could be a compatibility issue with another plugin.

Perhaps this type of error could be checked and addressed in a future update. Thank you for your attention.

    Hello,

thanks for reporting, I’ll check this. May I ask which version did you update from?

    Hello,

is that a new newsletter or did you duplicate an old one? If the latter, can you try with a fresh newsletter to see if you get the same error?

I was previously using version 8.8.5 and updated to 8.8.7. The error occurs only with the “One Column, Big Image” layout, whether I’m using a duplicated newsletter or creating a new one, as shown in these new screenshots using a default template.

I’ve already disabled all other plugins on the site to check for any compatibility issues, but the error persisted. I also removed version 8.8.7 and reverted to 8.8.5, which I have installed on another site where it still works fine. However, downgrading didn’t solve the issue on this site. I’ve now updated back to 8.8.7 and am sending you the screenshots for reference.

I understand it doesn’t make much sense that downgrading didn’t resolve the issue, but I wanted to share all the steps I’ve tried. Hopefully, this can be looked into for a possible fix in a future update. Thank you for your attention and support.

    Hello,

did you take a look at the browser console to check if any errors come up there?

    Hello @budegass,

please try the following. Set the debug option in Settings > Advanced to “on”. Then try to create a brand new newsletter with the faulty block. An error should appear in that page, and also a php-xxx.txt should be created and available form Help > Logs panel.

Let us have those logs, thanks.

    Hello,

thanks for the logs zip. Unfortunately there’s no php error logs there, so our last chance to debug this is to have a direct access to your website (or you might be asking to your hosting provider for server errors log but that’s a remote option). Please drop us a line at [email protected] so we can continue this.

    Michael
