    Hi,

    Few month ago, I updated the WP Carousel plugin to the latest version and carousel stopped to work. When reverted back, all go to normal.

    Today, I decided to update one more time hoping the issue is fixed, but it is still not working.

    I even created a new carousel.

    What I noticed, if I switch to Layout Type “Grid”, the images will show, but not when it set to carousel.

    The version was working: 2.4.1

    Hi,

    I saw in 2.4.11 release notes that Carousel layout was impacted. What is the user’s impact ? I recreated the carousel from scratch and using a new generated short code ID. Anything else should I change ?

    Hi,

    One move observation: when I use “Show Preview” from the dashboard, it shows all my 29 images as a single image with the arrows somewhere in the middle.

    Hi @anyakom66,

    Yes, in order to enhance some features and the general efficiency of the plugin, we switched from slick.js to swiper.js. There appears to be a potential Swiper conflict on your website. Could you kindly provide the page link after adding a carousel to a page? Or try viewing the page source to see how many Swiper are there. You might also discover some errors in the browser console if the carousels aren’t operating correctly.

    Hi Pulak,

    https://www.beaconsfieldart.com/ has carousel defined in the front page.

    I can see Swiper in the page source, but I don’t know what to look at there. I can see all the parameters are listed and all images as well (29 images in the carousel).

    Please let me know what else I can do.

    Hi @anyakom66,

    Thanks for sharing the page link. We can see there is a console error in the browser indicating that the ‘swiper-bundle.min.js’ is missing. Kindly go go to the plugin’s settings and make sure the Swiper is enqueued. Check the screeshot.

    Additionally, if you are using any optimization plugin, we would suggest you to exclude the ‘swiper-bundle.min.js’ from being compressed, combined, and deffered.

    Hi Pulak,

    You are right, Swiper wasn’t enqueued. After I enqueued it, there is some progress: I can see the the carousel on the front page, but it is not moving and it is not responding on any clicks.

    There is one error in the js script when I looked at it with Web Dev tool.

    Hi @anyakom66,

    In order to get it fixed, you need to fix the other errors first. We can see another syntax error is visible in the console. First of all, you need to fix the error to avoind such issue. It seems some <br> tags were used in the script which might causes the error. Check the screenshots (https://prnt.sc/XzpWqYgMbNem, https://prnt.sc/S7x2o3mSHha0).

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    We suspects this is a Swiper issue and there is a conflict on your website that might causing the issue. We will try to fix the conflict of swiper in the next version of the plugin. It is quite difficult for us to provide you with a precise solution without first looking into the problem on your end. We would appreciate it if you could start a new topic here since the issue needs more research to resolve.
