Layout/Formatting of User Submitted Posts

    In the User Submitted Posts (or another plugin if somebody has a better solution), I’m wondering if it is possible to pre-configure a layout, and then as the user submits their content and images, the post/page is built following a template layout that makes each post look professional.

    Hope that question is clear enough!

    Maybe a little more context. I’m looking to create a news site where many authors will submit their stories and accompanying images. I would like to have the story and images already set up in a nice, professional looking blog layout so I can just do some quick editorial approval and then publish without having to worry about formatting to put the images and the copy all in the right places.

    Hi planbsocial,

    Glad to help. What you describe would be possible by modifying your theme template or using a child theme, but it is not something that is included turn-key out of the box.

    Note that ww.wp.xz.cn for some reason stopped sending out notification emails when people post new topics in the forum, so I had no idea that you had posted this.
