Lazy Loading

I have noticed that after the most recent update of WordPress, my images are suddenly blurry until I click to view them in full resolution. Once I view them in full and return to the location where they were initially blurry, they now display nice and sharp. Some research suggests that this is the behavior of lazy loading. I have seen a bug reported recently with WordPress 6.7 and the fix is supposedly on version 6.7.1 which I have now updated to but yet, I am still experiencing the same issue.

Could this be something in the Twenty Twenty Four theme itself? If so, are there any suggestions on what I should do?
