LCP Vs latest posts block

    Hello LCP team,

    I’m currently in the process of designing a page that displays all the categories on my blog, in an easy-to-read way.

    Please forgive this naive question, but what would be the advantages to use LCP over the Latest Posts block that’s native in WordPress? Does LCP have any specific feature that might be useful in the future, or maybe it has better performance in therms of page loading time?

    Thank you for your help and sorry if this question has been asked before. I haven’t found any info on this.

    It has many more filtering options, robust features allowing you to select what information to include in your list and it supports pagination (with AJAX pagination if you use the add-on plugin). If the Latest Posts block satisfies your needs – go ahead and use it, there’s no point in installing a plugin if it does not add features you actually need. Use LCP if you need the advanced capabilities it offers.

    Read the docs to see what the plugin allows you to do.
