Lead firing twice

    Hi guys!

    I am using your plugin to manage Meta pixel, but i seem to have a problem. Here is my scenario:
    1. Fluent Form in on a landing page inside a popup. After completion it redirects to a thank you page.
    2. I added a Lead event that fires on Fluent Form Event: https://prnt.sc/qXSvsv0Au2Tw

    The problem is that for some reason it fires twice. I used Events Manager to test it and i get two different Lead events. One coming from the landing page URL and the second from the thank you page.

    Can you please tell me what i can do?

    Hello @azael2k,

    There are two possible reasons why the event might be firing twice:

    1. The same landing page is loading both inside the popup and on the thank-you page.
    2. Another event is configured in Meta’s Events Manager setup tool, or the “Track events automatically without code” option is turned ON in the Events Manager settings.

    However, it would be great if you could share a screenshot showing both events firing.

    Hi!

    Thanks for answering my topic.

    In response to your message:

    1. The same landing page is loading both inside the popup and on the thank-you page.

    I have checked and it is not possible for this to happen. The form is in a popup that shows on the main landing page. The thank you page is behind a token and can’t be accessed otherwise.

    2. Another event is configured in Meta’s Events Manager setup tool, or the “Track events automatically without code” option is turned ON in the Events Manager settings.

    I have checked all of this prior to submitting this topic and it was off.

    I will try and make a copy of the situation tomorrow, since the page i am talking about now is live. I have changed the way it works from > trigger: Fluent Forms to Trigger: URL contains. I can use that since i have a unique token for each successful form submission. The token is valid for 15 min, so i added the trigger once per hour and it seems to do the job.

    p.s. when i first found the initial issues i did a quick search to see if others have this problem, and i did find some topics in various places posted this year, that had the same issue with twice Lead trigger for Fluent Forms.
