“Learn more” button not changing

Hi!
I’m testing your theme to see if it works for us. I’m using a child theme.
I need to change the “Learn more” button, so I followed the instructions you gave for another topic, but it is not working.

The code you sugested changing was this:<?php esc_html_e( 'Learn More', 'givingpress-lite' ); ?>

I tried changing the “Learn more” in home-page-small.php (content file), but nothing has happened. I also tried changing ‘givingpress-lite’ for ‘givingpress-lite-child’.

Do you know what can be happening?
I’d appreciate very much if you could help us with this.
