    Hi, for theming I think you need to know CSS and PHP. If I have to start learning one, which one first?

    CSS. Most theming problems based on using existing themes are solved with CSS. Also, use Firefox and install Firebug and learn how to use it.

    You should also make sure you know about child themes. They are the only recommended way of making changes to themes.

    I’d concentrate on learning how to modify existing themes before trying to create your own.

    Just my opinions.

    Yes, I’ve started using child themes of existing themes and I would like to modify theme. I will follow your advice. Thanks.
